An old time friend of mine wanted to congratulate me for graduating. We planned to have a get-together so that we could reminisce about the past and talk about my future.

His family and I met up at LongHorn Steakhouse, a great restaurant with juicy food. The waitress pointed out that there were a couple new items on the menu, and suggested we try them. I took her advice and picked one of the new items for my appetizer.

Strawberry Pecan Salad: Mixed field greens topped with fresh strawberries, grapes, mandarin oranges, crisp candied pecans, red onion, feta cheese, and tangy raspberry vinaigrette.

Fruity taste with an aftertaste of pecans...Yum!
