Food Blog Entry #9

9/10

If you've been keeping up with my past blogs you will have noticed that I consumed a ginormous burger from IHOP. So to recover from the protein overload I made myself eat some thing much healthier for lunch.

I wasn't in any hurry today so I went to Dadeland Mall, about 15 minutes from my house. I entered through Nordstrom and noticed a sign advertising their new bistro. I've been to Nordstrom before but never their bistro...I just had to try it out! And that's exactly what I did, I went to the The Nordstrom Cafe Bistro.

"Nordstrom Cafe Bistro is a casual and affordable restaurant featuring our own interpretation of bistro cuisine. The display kitchen provides a stage for our chefs to prepare fresh salads, pasta, house made desserts and kids' cafe selections. Signature dishes include brick oven pizzas and unique sandwiches that are bold in flavor and classic in design. Our commitment is to engage in quick, friendly and attentive service from the cash register to dining room.

Welcome to Cafe Bistro!"

Now that's what I call an introduction...

Blue Cheese & Pear Salad: Organic baby greens tossed with crunchy candied pecans, dried cherries, seasonal pear, blue cheese and dark cherry balsamic vinaigrette.

Lets just say that those cherries were to die for.
