Can you believe that it's been a month since I graduated and I still have not gone on vacation yet? Well it's about time I hop on the next flight to Washington D.C., my future home, for the 4th of July weekend! This trip may be my only escape from all the miserable rain here in Miami but there's still one problem...my mom is putting me to work there, she wants me to help her paint her new apartment. As much as I love painting I'd rather go exploring around the capital of the United States, there's so much more to see in the D.C. area compared to watching paint dry.

Unfortunately I have an undying love for my mother and could never turn her down, for anything. In addition to having lots of love for my mommy I have another unconditional love for my father, and since I'll be gone for four entire days I decided to invite him to one of his favorite places for a farewell lunch at Offerdahl's Café Grill.

The Greek Salad: Romaine, cucumbers, tomatoes, kalamata olives, feta cheese, red onion, and tangy Greek dressing.

Chocolate Chunk Cookie: Three types of chocolate chunks baked into a giant sized cookie.

I doubt real Greeks at this.
