I may be moving to Washington D.C. in August, but I'm going to spending lots of time in the small town nearby: Alexandria. This old town is where my mom was born and raised until she moved to Miami where she met my dad. This means I have family here, and a place to sleep at for the duration of my visit.
Due to the fact that I'm hanging out in Alexandria, I might as well explore some of the food options exclusive to this area. Like this morning I went to the same shopping center as the Starbucks, only because I saw a couple good looking places close by. After walking around the small center I decided my best bet was to try out the Chicken Out Rotisserie, a quick and friendly food stop only found in Old Town Alexandria.
Asian Sesame Ginger With Chicken Rice Bowl: Grilled chicken, orange slices, noodles, ginger, and sesame seeds all on top of brown rice.
Turtle Bar: Chocolate chips baked with cookie dough into the shape of a bar and drizzled with chocolate syrup.
Chicken IS there specialty.
