5/10Mission accomplished...I broke my two day habit. For two days straight (on vacation) I've been having breakfast, lunch, and dinner in same places at the same time, sad right? Anyway, I saw this nice bakery right next door to Starbucks, I know it's unique to Alexandria because its called:
Alexandria Pastry Shop. I actually wanted to go on the 4th of July for lunch but they were closed...partly because of their small work force.
Turkey Sandwich: Turkey, spicy mustard, provolone, peppers, olives, spinach and tomatoes on a kaiser roll.
Streusel Pear: A rectangular pastry with pears and cream cheese filling with a streusel topping.
4th Of July Cookie: A cookie with frosting in the colors of the American flag.
I don't have much turkey, but I know how it should taste.
