With vacation comes weight. I arrived this morning at about 10:30 AM, giving me sufficient time to make it to the gym for my daily workout. I felt good, finally getting back to the norm, running helps me burn off both stress and fat. Over the vacation I missed out on a lot of walking, so I made an hour long trip to my mom's office to continue working off some of the extra weight.
Usually I only have to wait about 30 minutes before my mom is ready to leave work, but not today...today we had to wait an extra hour for her new computer to be completely formatted to her liking. I'm glad she has a new computer to be proud of, but waiting that long can really make a guy hungry. Since my mom's office is near The Falls we decided to go to one of our new favorite restaurants: Hops.
Chopped Asian Chicken Salad: A bed of chopped mixed greens, bleu cheese crumbles, tomatoes, red onions and bacon, topped with grilled Asian marinated chicken breast, chopped mixed nuts and a side of Asian dressing.
It's about time I eat my vegetables.
