Food Blog Entry #169

7/10

With my new acquired back disability I had to make the hard decision of going back to eating small, low calorie meals. I pretty much HAVE to do this because I can't do my daily three-mile run. Due to this my only breakfast was a Monster Energy drink. A little something that would give me enough energy to wake up and work out on the exercise bike, yet not make me fat; it's full of vitamins.

After cycling on the bike for an hour and a half I did start to feel hungry. I chose to go to Offerdahl's Café Grill; because they serve good, healthy portions minus all the grease and other unnecessary junk. Even though I'm watching what I eat I still had to have a little dessert...they make the best muffins.

Tokyo Teriyaki: Grilled chicken, carrots, snap peas, brocolli, scallions, white rice, and teriyaki sesame sauce.

Cranberry Muffin: A muffin baked with cranberries right inside.

The rice was a too dry...but the muffin is saving its score.
