Food Blog Entry #172

There was a commercial on the other day advertising Chili's cheap deal. The deal entitles the customers to order one appetizer, two entrees and share one dessert for only $20...now that's very good in an excellent restaurant.

One problem. They limit the menu to what can be ordered, items that are not as expensive. Also I don't like that whole business with "sharing" dessert...I'm Max Vincent Morales, an only child, meaning I suck at sharing...BIG TIME. So sadly we chose to ignore the special offer and just order our usual way...funny thing, it was only $22 anyway; my mom didn't even order a whole meal.

Quesadilla Explosion Salad: Fajita-marinated chicken, mixed cheese, corn relish, cilantro, diced tomato, crispy tortilla strips and ancho-chile ranch drizzle. Served with fire-grilled cheese quesadilla wedges and our citrus-balsamic dressing.

That cilantro really gives it a nice kick...and keeps my mom's pitchfork away.

P.S. The first food blog entry starting with the letter Q!
