Food Blog Entry #182

8/10

From the second that I opened my eyes in the morning I yearned to go to Dadeland Mall, for an afternoon outing with my mom. Even my mother agreed, she wanted to check GlamorShots to see if they had finished printing her professional photos. Once I finished my morning bike workout and my mom came back home from the gym we would go straight to the mall for lunch and the pictures. Sadly, the garage wouldn't open.

I pushed the button that opens and closes it, but it wouldn't even budge...so I tried lifting it up myself. These types of garages are able to be lifted, but only by strong dudes...like me! WRONG! My back has been bothering me for the last week and makes even the simplest of tasks difficult. So my mom called the garage door company to send someone out to fix it...and they were glad to do it right away. "Right away", meaning we had to skip out on Dadeland Mall and get back home to let the mechanic in. At least we were capable of making it back and forth to Jamba Juice, one of the smoothie shops I usually have no patience to drive to. In addition I went next door to Starbucks and tested out one of their new flatbread panini sandwiches.

Açaí Super-Antioxidant: Açaí juice, strawberries, blueberries, soymilk, raspberry sherbet, and antioxidant power boost.

Tuna Melt Panini:
Albacore tuna salad and cheddar cheese melted into a flatbread sandwich.

It might not be Dadeland Mall, but it was well worth it.
