Trust me, I know that IKEA's cinnamon buns are irresistible. Their smell alone has the power to make your hands wrench your wallet out and throw all your money in the cashier's face (only because you want to run out of the store and wolf em' down). Unfortunately for IKEA I exercise a high level of self control. Instead of waiting to go home for dessert I decided to order myself a dessert from Bahama Breeze. I was at Bahama Breeze at that moment...after all, if I wanted to I could just open my fridge and heat up one of those delicious cinnamon buns later in the week.
Warm Chocolate Pineapple Upside Down Cake: Welcome to the island...a warm rich chocolate cake with a chocolate molten center topped with caramelized pineapple, raspberry sauce, butterscotch brandy sauce and fresh whipped cream.
A BIG upgrade from any ordinary Pineapple Upside Down Cake.
I'd also like to use this space at the bottom to thank Maria and Ismania for coming out to dinner with us. We have less than a month left in Miami and having these final get togethers are, in my eyes, important. I'm especially happy that Ismania was able to join us, she lives all the way in Colombia and was in Miami at the right time to be with her family and give us a chance to say farewell. Once again...Thank You!
