Food Blog Entry #189

8/10

It was just one of those days...when I just felt like taking a mouthful of fiber, with caramel drenched all over it. Yes, apples are an excellent source of fiber...and at Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, a great place to find the best caramel.

But I didn't think of going to RMCF on my own. As a freshman entering George Washington University, I'm required to read "Hot, Flat and Crowded" by Thomas L. Friedman. The book is supposed to explain why we need a green revolution, and that our current bad habits are causing the Earth to diminish. Borders is near The Falls, so might as well satisfy my burning need for healthy food covered in junk along the way.

Sprinkles Apple: A Granny Smith apple dipped in caramel, then covered with white chocolate confection, and finally rolled around in sprinkles.

White Chocolate Macadamia Cluster: Macadamia nuts clustered together and dipped in white chocolate.

Who cares about the sprinkles...white chocolate rocks! Also, the apple was super sour...just the way I like it!
