Whole Foods was swarming with health freaks...like me. And to tell you the truth, why not? Whole Foods makes sure to prepare all their dishes with the healthiest, most wholesome, and low calorie ingredients. Although they might be a bit more expensive than normal supermarkets they're worth it, at least to me they are.
I usually end up getting a tub of soup with a bagel full of carbohydrates, but not on this excursion. Instead I went with a cut up wrap, which at the time of purchase looked bigger...but it was a trick. Whole Foods is cleaver...they purposefully cut the wrap into six round pieces, resembling sushi, in order to give the customer a false sense of satisfaction. The eater believes they are consuming more because of the division, when in fact they are eating smaller serving size of something similar. This is how Whole Foods makes their money, by successfully transforming peoples' bodies.
Turkey Waldorf Wrap: Turkey, cranberry orange relish sauce, oranges, and cranberries.
Chocolate Gourmet Cupcake: A chocolate cupcake topped with chocolate frosting and sprinkled with pretty sugar.
Power Banana Ramma: Banana, fat free vanilla yogurt, whey protein, cinnamon, and non fat milk blended together.
Funny thing is, every time I go to Whole Foods I get the most unhealthiest foods. Sometimes I attract stares!
