There's this shopping center with a movie theater near my house called "The Village". I always thought that saying that phrase sounded weird...here, repeat: "He guys! Lets go to The Village!". Not my cup of tea.

Anyway, there's a diner that has always been there. It used to be called "StarLite Diner", but their business went bad and was bought out by the current owners...who now named it after the shopping center "Village Diner". My mom and I hadn't been there since it was run by the old owners, so we thought we should give it a go.

Corn Beef Reuben Sandwich: Corn beef, cheddar cheese and sauerkraut on whole wheat bread. Served with a side of french fries and a pickle spear.

Now I know why this is my mom's favorite sandwich!
