The closest thing I've ever had to a Banana Split is a Banana Split Shake. Two completely different tastes...trust me.

Up until my first visit at the Village Diner, I had never had the one...the only...the ORIGINAL split. I regret not ever ordering it in the past. It could have been because it's a "classic" dessert, my taste buds tend to force my vocal cords to ask for more "exotic" after dinner treats. Check this bad boy out!

Banana Split: One scoop of vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry ice cream sprinkled with fresh strawberries and blueberries, in between a split banana. Then topped with pineapple sauce, whipped cream, chocolate syrup, walnuts, and cherries.

I'm getting this classic treat WAY more often.
