Cash 4 Clunkers is a program that allows people with old, beat-up, run-down cars with bad gas mileage trade it in for credit to buy a brand new car. It's an amazing program that has worked too well! One billion dollars was invested into the program, but was quickly depleted within the first week. Then two billion dollars was put in, but is only expected to last until the weekend. So with all the hype, my mom got the idea of cashing in my clunkin' Volvo.

It was around lunch time when we decided to visit the Lexus dealer. Since we still have coupons for Smoothie King we stopped there first to pick up two 40 oz smoothies. The good news was that I was allowed to slurp my smoothie at the dealership. The bad news was that they were unable to exchange my Volvo for credit to buy a new ES Lexus. Turns out my car dosn't meet the qualifications of "clunker".
