Food Blog Entry #254

8/10

Last dinner in Miami...so sad, yet so satisfying. For our (my mom and I) final outing we chose to go to a Thai/Japanese restaurant, called Moon, with Carlos and Sebastian. Carlos is my mom's ex-boyfriend and Sebastian is his son, we wanted to wish Sebastian a belated happy birthday along with a farewell.

I had never gone to Moon before, but I was amazed when I found out that the restaurant had two menus...one for the Thai food, the other for the Japanese selections. This intrigued me. I was easily drawn to the Thai choices, since most of them had spicy ingredients. Check this lava pool out.

P.S. If your low on cash...don't come here often. Other than that it's great food.

Volcano Chicken: Chicken breast with red spicy sauce, over steamed vegetables. Served with a side of brown rice.

Seems like my mom and Carlos joking about the type of chemical reactions were going to happen in the near future.
