I'm home! Yes, the day has finally arrived. I have officially left Miami and am now residing in Washington D.C. The train finished its journey early...by about 30 minutes. We immediately drove straight to my mom's new apartment and began unpacking. It must of taken us three hours just to set up the sofas and computers...by then I was feeling restless, I needed to go to the gym. After I signed up and finished an hour and a half of exercise we continued to unpack and eventually decided to invite my grandma for dinner. She's very fond of La Madeleine, so why not go there? It is one of my favorite restaurants here in Virginia.

Turkey Bistro: Smoked turkey, crisp bacon, lettuce, tomatoes, melted provolone and sun-dried tomato pesto* spread on a sun-dried tomato roll. Served with a side of Caesar salade.

Ann's Cake: Chocolate cake with chocolate ganach inside. Topped with whipped cream.

Oh Madeleine...I missed you so much!
