Today I had an opportunity to go to The Smithsonian which is an educational facility maintaining all sorts of museums. These museums inform visitors on just about anything...ranging from the beginning of time in The Natural History museum to the future of earth in the Air and Space museum. I chose to start where it all began and spent five and a half hours in The Natural History museum...leaving me starving.
Good thing too...because my mom had scheduled a dinner with Roger S., a student who also attended my mom's obscure high school and currently one of the career specialist at George Washington University.
Since we're still new to the area Roger suggested Clyde's, a restaurant with five or six rooms ALL with their own theme. Once we met Roger we were steered to the bar room where we ordered crab cakes all around.
Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes: Two crab cakes with corn and tomato Chesapeake and oven roasted potatoes.
Roger told us that these were the best thing on the menu...and he was correct!!
