My days are gradually getting harder and harder. For example...instead of hitching a ride to the metro station, I had to ride my bike there. And I couldn't just go straight to the Smithsonian, no I had to stop by George Washington University to pick up my special ID card. My picture could have come out better...but might as well take the bad shot now and check out how much I've grown in four years.
Like most weekdays here in Washington D.C. there is always super traffic from 4:30 - 7:00 PM. The city has set up people hours so that they finish within these three hours...in order to prevent clogging to the tenth degree. Due to this, there is now three rush hours. So to avoid traffic I went to the nearby shopping center where the Alexandria Bakery/Cafe is. I arrived at 6:30 PM...good thing too because their sign said they close at 7:00 PM.
Hot Vegetarian Sandwich: Mozzarella cheese, eggplant, peppers & onions on focaccia.
Blueberry Apricot: Pastry baked with blueberries and apricots.
The eggplant was interesting...but the sandwich was just so plain.
